This is it. The beginning. The birth. The genesis. The labor and delivery of my blog. (Actually, the labor will most likely come later, when the well has run dry.) But still, this is it, folks.
The dawn of a new error.
Ahem – era.
You see, I have thoughts. Deep ones. Profound ones. Goofy ones. Thoughts that need somewhere to surface and come to fruition and be heard, if only by a few. I have convictions and hopes and dreams, passions and pursuits, and a wonderful life to live. So I’m going to document it. It’s the only polite thing to do.
Who knows? One day, when I’m old and gray, trotting the globe in curlers and slippers, and cackling at the thought of the archaic “internet age”, I may just be glad I did. And I may just risk throwing my back out to give myself a pat on the shoulder and a “Well done, Abbie”, for preserving this life o’ mine in the written form.
For now, hello world! I’ve come to take you by storm.
